On a quick vacation to some tide pools in Oregon, I was able to play with capturing images underwater from shooting above. Here are some of my favorites.
I love the separation from air to sea you get in the above photo.
This lighting for this photo allowed me to achieve crystal clarity, as the clouds nicely blocked any reflection I would have received on a clear day.
The photo above captures the perfect sharing that exists between air and water in tide pools . . . both very necessary to the creatures that live here. The colors are spectacular.
I love this image - everything is underwater. You would think you were viewing this through glass until you catch the tips of the water grass poking out on the above right. What a perfect underwater garden.
